Health Horizons is a youth-led nonprofit organization based in Brentwood, California dedicated to empowering young people to create positive change in underserved communities. Through community service, fundraising initiatives, and volunteer-driven programs, our members work to support vulnerable populations such as children and seniors. Our organization has hosted card-writing workshops with Cards for Kids and raised over $1,000 to support underprivileged nursing homes.
In addition to service initiatives, Health Horizons is committed to promoting education and wellness. We provide health and wellness information to the community and offer academic guidance for high school students pursuing the medical pathway. Through mentorship and future workshops, we aim to help aspiring pre-health students strengthen their extracurricular involvement, develop leadership skills, and prepare for careers in healthcare while continuing to give back to their communities.
